1. Calculate
Total emissions
We emit a total of 615 tons per year.
​
That’s the same amount as 60 Berliners emit in a year, or what 33 gray whales can absorb in their lifetime.
2. Reduce
As a digital-first company, we aim to reduce our carbon footprint everywhere we can. We support our team so they can thrive professionally and help the communities around us, and we treat all our stakeholders – investors, clients, employees, and users – fairly and equally.

3. Offset
In addition to offsetting all 615 tons of emissions we produced last year, we’re investing in variety of carbon removal projects.
TIST Uganda
TIST Uganda is a community-led reforestation program.

In 2020, TIST turned 20 years old and reached a 20 million tree milestone. Today, 110,000+ TIST farmers have nurtured the growth of 21.5 million trees!

Running Tide
Additionally, 11 tonnes were invested into the frontier carbon removal project by the aquaculture company Running Tide.
​
Running Tide grows kelp to sequester carbon and sink it deep into the ocean. It’s estimated that kelp sunk 1,000 meters deep will store COâ‚‚ for at least 1,000 years.
​
Kelp forests can store up to 20 times more carbon per acre than land forests, and they grow at a rate that’s many times faster.
