MAAS highlights

Bogotá’s mobility strategy, Plan Maestro de Movilidad, aims to improve the quality of life for residents by connecting more of the city and improving service levels.

The MAAS app plays an integral role in that strategy. Thanks to accurate journey planning and real-time tracking, residents now have an easier, safer way to travel around their city.

First stage of the app launched in just 5 months from contract signing

MAAS lets residents track buses and other transport on a in real-time

Optimized journeys

World-class journey planning

Underpinned by Trafi’s powerful journey planner, MAAS helps Bogotans quickly plan their trips, showing the best routes available based on travel time, cost and convenience

Live service updates

Access to live service status lets users plan their journeys with confidence before they set off and during their travel

Real-time transport tracking

A first for Colombia. Residents can see exactly where their bus or other transport mode is on a map and when it will arrive

Coming soon: travel card integration

Residents will soon be able to link their tullave travelcard to MAAS. The deep integration will let residents top up their card, view their balance and pay for trips without leaving the app

Our main goal with MAAS is to make it easier for anyone to travel in Bogota. Accurate information based on real time passenger data on bus arrivals, routes and schedules will allow millions to save time on their daily commute. With the Trafi platform we are able to add value not only to those using public transport, but also to people that travel by taxi or other means of transportation. Booking a ride or renting a vehicle will soon be possible from your phone in one single application using an online payment method. This kind of innovation is unique in LATAM and we plan to extend it to other cities in the region.
